Three of us all read the same book on the trip, The Quiet American. For any of you who haven’t read it and want a 200 pg. quick read, I highly recommend it—loved the characters and Graham Greene’s writing style. There is something about reading about a place when you are there that makes you either feel like you in the book or that the book is outside you. We went to a few places that the characters frequented like the Hotel Continental (pictured).
